Sun and Swimwear

Tankinis are the most practical swimwear - ever! They have the wearing ease and practicality of a two piece suit (meaning you can get out of them when they are wet) yet the cover the midriff area and tummy even better than a one-piece. This Pin-up Girls pattern comes in eleven sizes from Bust 32 to Bust 52. You have the option of five different bottoms - a regular or bikini bottom, boy shorts, thigh length shorts or Capri leggings. The inside bra uses pre-formed swim cups such as our MU Swimwear series.

Bra-makers Tip - I have also made the tankini with our MB Balconette cups and I like those ones too. I've even had ladies tell me they omitted the g-hook/swimwear clicker from the back and wore this as a summer top.

The Wendy bra-in-a-tank-top was designed as a summer top that contains it's own bra. The bra is NOT a so-called "shelf" bra - I don't find that they hold anything but the smallest (and firmest) of bust sizes. This tank top uses our MB Balconette cups or our Uni-cups (MT style) for the inside bra - which provides a nipple-free profile. Two views are included - one with an empire line under the bust and one without. The inside bra also offers two versions for the back - one with a traditional bra hook and eye and the other as a pull-on style. Our testers gave this one a very big THUMBS UP!

Basic tank suit with  two views - one piece front or seamed front panels allows for colour blocking.  Sizes XS to XL in one envelope.
